Participation in the Climate-KIC´s professional mobility programme Pioneers into Practice funded by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology. (Climate-KIC)

Project Urban Competition "The Future of the Center of Brno" (2015)

Participation in the competition with a goal to find urban and transport solution for the new Brno railway station located in the locality below Petrov and at the same time the creation of a strategy for the creation of a fully-fledged part of the city that will meet the needs and reality of the 21st and 22nd centuries.

LABEL - Labe - Elbe Adaptation to flood risk (2011)

The flood hazard areas in the Elbe river basin were increasingly determined after the flood event of 2002 and communicated to the broad public. Risk information embedded in instruments of spatial planning will serve as basis for sustainable development in the Elbe river basin. Here protection from floods plays a decisive role. Besides the new risk-preventive requirements for spatial planning, the current land-use planning must be adapted to the flood risk. With the provision of risk information and its implementation into the relevant planning the attractive and sustainable development of the economically important Elbe region will be assured. Among others the challenges of climate change and new strategies for adaptation provide opportunities for the development of the regions. (IRI in LABEL)

ELLA - Elbe - Labe spatial planning flood management stategy (2006)

The project does not produce immediate results in municipal flood protection. However, its focus on spatial planning activities may in the future significantly improve flood protection of municipalities in particular by means of land use plans that will be elaborated on the basis of recommendations based on the principles and categorization proposed in this project.

Regional Disparities in Housing Availability and Affordability

The project revealed, quantified and analyzed actual regional disparities (among regions NUTS 3) in availability and affordability of housing in the Czech Republic during years 2007 - 2011.
